On June 24th, the City of Seattle informed the staff of Seattle Community Media that SCM will no longer receive funding, effective midnight June 30th, 2020.
Staff were told the City's Department of Technology, which funds SCM, has had its budget cut significantly and they can no longer support Public Access Television in Seattle.
