THE Flash season 6 is speeding over to Netflix in just a few weeks.
The show’s streaming service release date was announced Wednesday, just a day after the first of the final four remaining episodes aired on The CW.
With the current season ending soon, fans are wondering when all of season 6 will come out on Netflix, and now there’s finally an answer.
The Flash season 6 drops on Netflix on May 20, just a little over a week after the substitute finale airs on May 12.
Originally set to have 22 episodes, the CW superhero show will now only air 19 due to the coronavirus pandemic shutting down production before season 6 could finish filming.
Episode 16 aired last night, and the final three episodes of the season will debut over the next three weeks, with no breaks.
Next week, in episode 17, titled “Liberation,” fans can expect to see Barry and Iris’ relationship change a lot from how it’s been.
The synopsis teases: “After recent events, Barry takes a closer look at his life with Iris. Eva makes a bold move.”
It was directed by Jeff Byrd and written by Jonathan Butler and Gabriel Garza.
Star Grant Gustin told TVLine: “[Barry] will be the first team member [outside of Wally] to start picking up that something is wrong with Iris, and he starts to get suspicious.
“There’s a breaking point where he looks back at the past few weeks and realizes this isn’t Iris.”
The Flash season 6 cast includes Grant (Barry Allen/The Flash), Candice Patton (Iris West-Allen), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost) and Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon/Vibe).
Hartley Sawyer (Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man), Danielle Nicolet (Cecile Horton), Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells) and Jesse L. Martin (Detective Joe West) also star.
