TAYSHIA Adams looks ready to find love as she is spotted on set of The Bachelorette for the first time.
The 29-year-old – a phlebotomist from California – abruptly replaced Clare Crawley midway through filming season 16 after Clare reportedly found love and refused to film any more scenes.
But she appears to have settled in to her new role as the bachelorette, working with the crew to film new scenes after they bought back several of the men Clare had already eliminated.
Wearing a bright teal bikini and white sarong, Tayshia was joined by the production crew – all wearing masks – as she filmed scenes for the new series.
Tayshia was a fan favorite from season 23 of The Bachelor with Colton Underwood as she competed for his love.
Reports of Clare wanting to quit the show began swirling when she would not come out of her room to film with the other men as she had found love already with contestant Dale Moss.
An insider told Life & Style that Clare and Dale were engaged and ready to tie the knot.
Clare has not publicly spoken out about her alleged engagement but she did hint at speculation that Tayshia has already taken her place as The Bachelorette.
She liked a tweet that referenced Tayshia being the new lead.
The post said: “I’m sure many would be thrilled with Tayshia, too,” alongside a gif which read: “buckle up, it’s getting crazy!”
She later unliked it Monday morning but fans were quick to point out Clare would not have access to her phone if she were still filming.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Bachelorette production and filming had to be postponed from earlier in 2020.
An exact date for the airing of the show is not yet confirmed but the show is still filming at La Quinta resort, outside Palm Springs, California.
