A MOM who let her baby die from diaper rash in a maggot-infested swing has moaned about being bullied by other inmates sickened by her crime.
Cheyanne Harris, 22, was jailed for life last year for leaving her son to rot to death for up to two weeks while she got high on crystal meth.
But a little over a year into her sentence, the drug-addict has told how other convicts are making her life a living hell at the Correctional Institute for Women in Mitchelville, Iowa.
Harris featured on UK documentary Locked up with the Lifers, with presenter Stacey Dooley revealing she was “struggling” behind bars.
The killer mom moaned: “Other people here say that it gets better, that it won’t be so hard.
“But in all reality I think that’s bulls***.”
Harris added: “I don’t think I really have very many friends right now.”
And she admitted it “depends on the day” if she wants to live.
I don’t think I really have very many friends right now.”

Dooley later explained to the camera: “In prison, not all murderers are equal.
“Child killers are considered the lowest of the low, but she’s going to have to find a way to cope.”
Harris was being sent back into general population after spending time in solitary following a fight with a woman who taunted her for her crimes.
But as soon as she arrives back on the wing, other inmates begin to hurl abuse at her.
One can be heard shouting to the camera crew: “Did she tell you what she did? You wouldn’t be filming her.”
Harris then mutters to herself sarcastically: “Oh yeah, this is gonna be fun.”
Another inmate named Tara tells the documentary presenter: “Yeah they’ll f*** with her a lot [because of what she’s in here for].”
Asked if the abuse will continue, Tara replies: “Oh yeah. If not worse.
“Sometimes people like that, they might jump her in the bathroom.”
Harris’s baby Sterling Koehn was found rotting and bleeding from the mouth in a stifling apartment bedroom on August 30, 2017, in Chickasaw County.
The baby’s autopsy shows he died of malnutrition, dehydration and an e.Coli infection caused by being left in a maggot-infested nappy in a swing for up to two weeks.
He died of diaper rash. That’s right, diaper rash.”
Assistant Attorney General Coleman McAllister
Assistant Attorney General Coleman McAllister said the baby’s heavily soiled nappy had attracted bugs that had laid eggs – which hatched into maggots.
The resulting nappy rash led to ruptured skin and e.Coli bacteria set in.
McAllister said: “He died of diaper rash. That’s right, diaper rash.”
Police said they found everything needed to care for a child such as new diapers and baby ointment to treat the rash, the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports.
Zachary Koehn, the father, was also sentenced to life in prison.
He was said to have made $45,000 a year and had access to health insurance but the court heard the apartment smelled of decay, faeces and urine.
The infant was “rotting”, and a medical examiner found maggots in his clothing and skin.
He weighed less than seven pounds, reports the Des Moines Register.
A forensic entomologist who examined insects on the infant’s body concluded he had been left in the swing from nine to 14 days in the same diaper.
