LITTLE People, Big World’s Tori Roloff has confirmed her daughter has dwarfism – two months after mother-in-law Amy discussed the newborn’s diagnosis.
The TLC star took part in an “Ask Me Anything” Q&A on her Instagram Story when she explained that Lilah, who was born in November, is a little person like her dad Zach, 29, and brother Jackson, 2.
The 28-year-old shared the news on the social media platform when she was asked why she had opted for a C-section.
She wrote: “Because Lilah has dwarfism. It’s not that I couldn’t have a vbac [vaginal birth after cesarean], but most likely it would have ended in a C-section so we just skipped ahead.”
Tori added that her hospital visit “was so much more difficult” with Lilah, but she “recovered a lot faster this time around.
“Now just trying to get back into shape and love my body through PP.”
Tori and Zach welcomed Lilah Ray on November 19 and announced the news on Instagram several days later.
The Little People, Big World couple share their son Jackson Kyle, whom they welcomed back in 2017.
Jack, 29, also has achondroplasia like his famous father, which is a common form of dwarfism.
Tori’s announcement comes two month since her mother-in-law Amy Roloff, 55, revealed that Lilah would “have the same type of dwarfism as her dad Zachary and brother Jackson.”
In a now-deleted Facebook Live seen by Radar Online, the TLC star said: “She will be a little person.”
“And just to give you a quick synopsis, they have a 50/50 chance of having a little person like Zachary, or be an average size person. So, I commend Tori, she’s a good mom.
“I also commend her because realizing when you’re not used to it, she’s going to be the different one in her own family, instead of maybe Jackson or something like that.”
A few hours later after intially sharing the clip, it disappeared from Amy’s feed.
