FANS are once again accusing Kylie Jenner of photoshopping her social media photos.
This time, the 22-year-old is under fire after posting a collection of pictures from past Met Gala looks that appear to be altered to boost her hourglass figure.
The annual star-studded event was canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that didn’t stop celebrities from reminiscing about past years at the star-studded affair, including Kylie.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared images from the past few years on her Instagram Stories on Monday, and followers were quick to point out they all seemed to be altered at her waist, arms and cleavage.
One Instagram account called out the photoshop fail with transformation videos centered on Kylie’s allegedly edited pictures and the originals.
Though fans noted the changes seemed subtle, they still called out the reality star’s first image of her in a silver dress, which she wore to the 2016 Met Gala, for featuring a slimmed-down waist.
NYC-based photographer and photoshop expert Ruthie Darling told The Sun of the photo: “If you look at the green space between her arm and her waist, it appears slightly larger in her edited image.
“She most likely used the liquify tool to nudge her waist inward a bit. She also reduced the glare on her forehead by bringing down the exposure or highlights slightly.”
For her 2017 Versace, nude-and-gold gown look, commenters also noticed her waist seemed to be trimmed and pulled in.
Expert Ruthie noted Kylie’s eyebrows appeared to have been altered, as well.
She shared: “In this image we can see that Kylie’s eyebrows have been filled in to appear more symmetrical.
“This can be done using the clone stamp tool which samples an area of the photo and replicates it.”
The mother-of-one posted another photo from that night, this time posing with designer Donatella Versace, and Ruthie spotted the “‘temperature’ of the image has been warmed up a little” to give Kylie more of a tan.
She also said “a light airbrush has been applied to Donatella’s face” to ease the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Her final photo, from last year’s event, featured a side-by-side of Kylie and sister Kendall, and fans pointed out Stormi’s mom appeared to have a boosted cleavage in the shot.
Ruthie explained this was likely some “very subtle photoshop work,” but there are “clues” that some editing had been done.
She continued: “It appears Kylie or her team have a used the ‘burn’ tool in photoshop to darken the area around her cleavage and the ‘dodge’ tool to lighten the breasts themselves.
“In this case it makes her breasts look more orb-like and prominent. She also appears to have widened her hips a little, which can in turn make the waist seem smaller.
These editing fails come just a few days after Kylie was accused of the very same thing after posting a bikini shot of herself.
Viewers noticed a warped background — a tell-tale sign of editing — in the photo, which she deleted shortly after posting, and called her out on it.
One fan wrote, “Kylie is a master at Facetune and photoshop,” while another said: “I’m trying to work out what she was even editing.”
