SHE was left devastated following the death of her husband Hugh Hefner three years ago.
But former Playmate Crystal Harris, 34, seems to have finally found happiness again after being spotted on a luxury Mexio getaway with a new man.
When Playboy mogul Hugh passed away, heartbroken Crystal said she was in disbelief, adding that her husband was a “kind and humble soul who opened up his life and home to the world.”
She has spent the past few years mourning his death, but now finally appears to be finding happiness again.
Hugh, who married Crystal in 2012, left her £3million of his £32million fortune, as well as his home – which she later reportedly sold for almost £4million – when he died, with the rest being split between his four children.
Now, as Crystal appears to have finally found happiness again, we delve into her glam life and look at exactly how she spends her fortune…
African Safari escape following Hugh’s tragic death
Crystal has always enjoyed travelling the world, and now regularly spends her time jet-setting between luxury holiday destinations, never failing to document her travels through legions of glam pics on Instagram.
In fact, the blonde bombshell travelled to Africa shortly after hubby Hugh’s death, to take some time away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.
She said at the time: “I was living at the Playboy mansion for 10 years, and so much involved with Hef and his life so now I’m kind of trying to find my own path.”
Crystal stayed in a private canvas camp in the heart of the African wilderness decked with a shabby chic interior, looking out onto sprawling views of the Botswana plains.
The retreat is one of Africa’s last remaining great wildlife habitats and Crystal got up close and personal with the animals during the luxury stay.
Of course, the spectacular views come with an eye-watering price tag, where a one night stay per person at the reserve could set you back £2,300.
The couple’s beloved Hollywood pad
Hugh left his gleaming Hollywood Hills mansion – worth around £4million – to his wife when he passed away, ensuring she would be comfortable once he’d gone.
The property offers views of the Sunset Strip through its floor to ceiling windows, and boasts a fancy open plan layout that is bright and airy.
Crystal previously said the interior of the home is “so different from the Playboy Mansion” – which had a zoo filled with birds and monkeys in the backyard, as well as its very own orchard.
Sadly, it proved to hold too many difficult memories for Crystal, and she eventually put it on the market a few months after her husband’s death.
According to the LA Times, she fetched around £3.9million for it.
Real estate businesswoman
Her home isn’t the only property Crystal has sold off in recent years.
The blonde beauty revealed that she has been enjoying getting into the industry previously, and said: “I have about five properties now that I kind of buy and flip and rent — and it’s a lot of fun,” she told NBC’s Access.
“My mom’s a broker and I had my real estate license when I was 18 so it’s been kind of a fun hobby.”
“Over time, you get used to the market,” Harris added to the LA Times. “I know the areas where I can buy a house for $1.2 million, tear it down, build something better and sell it for $3 million.”
A whole new lifestyle
Crystal has previously insisted that she made the difficult decision to sell her home with Hugh because she found it too big to live in alone.
She said back in 2018 that after living with the Playboy tycoon, as well as their staff, she was ready for a more independent lifestyle – complete with smaller home comforts like trips to farmers’ markets, as well as pursuing a career as a lifestyle and travel blogger.
To match her lifestyle, the former Playboy model adopted a new bohemian chic aesthetic too.
Crystal ditched bleached blonde hair and tight mini skirts for sunkissed brunette tresses, floaty maxi dresses, straw hats and white cotton harem pants.
Travelling the world
While Crystal resides in Beverly Hills, she has ensured she’s made the most of her time alone to see the world.
In the past couple of years, she has travelled to Cape Town, Dubai, Australia, Bali, Shanghai, Paris, Saint Lucia, Barbados, Martinique and Tanzania, to name but a few destinations.
From enjoying some pampering in the exclusive Palazzo Versace in Dubai – where the rooms can cost up to £500anight – to reclining on hammocks in the middle of the ocean, Crystal certainly knows how to spend her time and fortune well.
‘New happiness and love with toyboy’
While it’s been a tough few years for Crystal, she finally appears to have found happiness with a new man.
The hunk she was spotted kissing recently is spaceship engineer Nathan Levi – who is 62 years Hugh’s junior at 32 years old.
It seems to be a fine match as the loved-up pair couldn’t look happier together as they strolled on the sand at the Casa de Mita resort in Punta de Mita, Mexico.
Here’s hoping they go the distance.
