A REALITY TV dance coach has pleaded guilty to raping and infecting a 16-year-old boy with HIV and there could be other victims.
John Conner III, 30, allegedly exposed the teen to the AIDs virus during multiple meet-ups where they had unprotected sex in his car.
The then-26-year-old of Memphis, Tennessee, met the unnamed boy on social media in 2015, Shelby County District Attorney’s Office said.
The pair allegedly sent nude photographs and discussed their sexual activities over text.
The boy joined Conner’s dance team the Infamous Dancerettes, WMC5 reported.
He only told his parents about the abuse after he was informed that Conner was HIV positive by another person.
TEEN’S HIV POSITIVE
After going to a doctor for tests it was revealed that the teen had contracted the virus.
Conner was diagnosed with HIV in December 2012.
He pleaded guilty to felony charges against him this week before his trial began.
They were criminal exposure to HIV, statutory rape by an authority figure and solicitation of a minor.
He will be sentenced on December 20.
Conner has two other similar cases with sexual partners, aged 17 and 24, that will be heard at a later date.
He was featured in one episode of the TV show Bring it, which was set in Jackson, Mississippi.
It followed competitive dance teams battling it out in the Mid-South and featured the Infamous Dancerettes.
