HARVEY Weinstein allegedly called Kate Beckinsale a c*** for not wearing a tight dress to a movie premiere.
Shortly after the movie mogul was sentenced to 23 years in prison, Kate recounted a time the 63-year-old convicted rapist furiously ranted to her for “looking like a f***ing lesbian.”
Kate, 46, detailed the upsetting incident through a lengthy Instagram post.
The English Actress also shared two photos from the NYC premiere of Serendipity on October 5, 2001 – with one of the images featuring her in a white, loose-fitted suit.
The morning after the premiere, Weinstein invited Kate to have her toddler come for a play date with his daughter, but when she arrived his nanny brought the children to another room.
Kate wrote: “The minute the door closed he started screaming ‘you stupid fucking C***, you C*** you ruined my premiere.’
“I had no idea what he was talking about and started to shake.
“He said, ‘If I am throwing a red carpet you get in a tight dress, you shake your a** you shake your tits you do not go down it looking like a f***ing lesbian you stupid f***ing c***.'”
Kate said the shock brought her to tears.
She recalled the event being held “mere weeks after 9/11 with the city still smoking.”
Kate continued: “I tried to say, ‘Harvey, the city is on fire, people are still looking for their relatives none of us even felt the premiere was appropriate much less coming out dressed like it’s a bachelor party.’”
Weinstein allegedly responded lividly and screaming: “I don’t care -it’s my f***ing premiere and if I want p**** on the red carpet that’s what I get.”
The actress described what happened as “one of many experiences” with “no recourse for, and falls under no felony”.
She concluded: “Hearing that he has gone to prison for 23 years is a huge relief to me on behalf of all the women he sexually assaulted or raped.
“I hope and pray that we as an industry can start to actually outlaw all abuses of power and expose them and eliminate them, for all genders, forever.”
A jury found him Weinstein guilty on two of the six counts he was facing in his trial – criminal sexual assault and rape in the third degree.
Father-of-five Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison on Wednesday morning.
He will be locked up for sex crimes that ended with his accusers sobbing and hugging each other from the front row of the courtroom.
The numerous allegations against Weinstein launched the global #MeToo movement to encourage women to come forward and hold powerful men accountable for their sexual misconduct.
