AS if the waters between Drake and Stormzy weren’t Merky enough, they’ve now got a little muddier.
After the Canadian star made eyes online at Stormzy’s former girlfriend Maya Jama, I can reveal he’s at it again — with Drake now giving the London rapper’s latest love interest a once over.
Fans of the pair spotted that Drake followed stunning model Yasmine Holmgren on Instagram not long after she was first linked to Stormzy.
But it seems the Swedish-born beauty only has eyes for the Brit chart-topper.
I can exclusively reveal that after lockdown ended, Yasmine flew to London to reunite with Stormzy and was present at his lavish birthday bash last month.
Yasmine, who has modelled for Victoria’s Secret, jetted in from Stockholm and was spotted walking his pet rottweilers.
An insider said: “Yasmine is smitten with Stormzy but they are taking it slow. Lockdown made it a lot harder to see each other but she flew into London as soon as she could. She stayed with him for a few days and met his friends at his birthday party. She was even allowed to walk his dogs, which are his pride and joy.
“Stormzy likes to keep his relationships out of the spotlight and as he gets closer to Jasmine, they will move even further under the radar. When she was around, nothing was posted on social media and she kept a very low profile. But they make a nice match and everyone hopes this could go the distance.”
Stormzy had been single since his split with Maya last August.
The former Radio 1 presenter caused a stir last month when Drake rapped about her in his new song, Only You Freestyle.
At the time I revealed how insiders close to Drake said the move was a blatant dig at Stormzy, with whom he has never seen eye to eye.
But as Stormzy has got the girl, he’s had the last laugh.
FANS of Lady Gaga are in for a treat, as the singer has launched a new weekly radio show with Apple Music.
Gaga Radio, which airs each Friday at 7pm, will see the star interviewing the musical idols who helped to bring to life her latest No1 album, Chromatica.
The first episode, out this week, sees Gaga interviewing producer Bloodpop.
Comparing the release of her sixth studio album to an “exorcism”, Gaga says in the first interview: “I felt a much more like mental, emotional release with that record.”
Her fans won’t want to miss this.
Perrie’s leather forecast
PERRIE Edwards ignored the sunshine and went hell for leather as she joined Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock for rehearsals ahead of their online Knebworth gig.
The pop star wore a pair of nude leather trousers with a white crop-top and oversized jacket as she warmed up her vocals on stage. Leigh-Anne looked equally glamorous in a skin-tight co-ord set.
The pair will take to the stage for the digital gig with bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson on August 21.
I exclusively revealed how they were following in the footsteps of legends the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin by playing the iconic Herts venue.
The gig is part of a bumper deal with Compare The Market after the girls’ UK summer tour was axed due to lockdown.
RISING star Brocarde has thanked fans after her latest release, Love Me ’Til I’m Beautiful, clocked up half a million YouTube views in just 72 hours. She said: “I’m ecstatic that there’s enough kindred spirits out there.”
Watch out for Ky winds
A WINDSWEPT Kylie Minogue brought some Aussie sunshine to London’s streets as she headed out in the capital on Tuesday.
The singer looked close to being blown away as she posed in an off-white silk dress outside the Ritz hotel.
Despite the gusts, Kylie kept smiling – which wasn’t hard after she launched her comeback last week with huge floor-filler anthem Say Something.
It’s the first single from her 15th studio album, Disco, out on November 6.
- DAME Shirley Bassey has announced her final album – dedicated to her fans – will be released later this year. The singer, 83, who has signed with Decca Records, said: “My new album is a celebration of 70 years in showbiz, 70 years of support from my fans and 70 years of music. The songs I have chosen all feel very personal.”
- V FESTIVAL is back after a three-year hiatus – and this time it’s going digital. Dizzee Rascal, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs will headline the event, which will be shown across three nights on ITV2 between August 21-23. Maya Jama and Joel Dommett are hosting the special shows, which also feature archive footage of some of the event’s biggest acts.
- PARIS Jackson has called time on her two-year romance with musician Gabriel Glenn. TMZ reported the pair had split, with pals saying they would remain friends. Paris is said to have ended the relationship so she can throw herself into revamping her music career. In the former couple’s Facebook series, Paris and Gabriel admitted they were “butting heads”.
- DUA Lipa has recruited Gwen Stefani and Mark Ronson for a remix album of her latest record, Future Nostalgia. Queen of Pop Madonna and rapper Missy Elliott also feature on the reworking of Dua’s single Levitating, which is out on August 14. The new release – Club Future Nostalagia: The Remix Album – is due to be released on August 21.
