Printer-friendly version

Just wanted to let you know that we are now broadcasting as Seattle Community Media.  The switch went smoothly.

You may discover one of your shows broadcasting at a time it normally doesn’t air.  Please don’t be alarmed.  Your time slot did not change.  These are bonus airings of your shows that are filling spots in the broadcast grid that were not previously programmed.

While you saw the Free Speech TV programs airing on Friday in their normal spots, you won’t see them airing over the long weekend.  Nothing to be alarmed about.  They will begin weekend airings next weekend.

Please check out the temporary website we've created for Seattle Community Media, www.seattlecommunitymedia.org for answers to any other questions you may have.

Just a reminder….  In short, during the month of July we will not be accepting new programs as we configure the new system for accepting programs.  Sorry, there can be no exceptions.  I know some people produced shows with hopes SCAN would get them on the server, but they were extremely busy and that didn’t happen.  We hope that will be up and running in August.  We will run re-runs during July of programs that are available from the broadcast server at SCAN.  Everyone keeps the time slots they had. Memberships will be available soon.  Keep checking the website for updates.
